How we collect, use and keep your personal data — and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry forms: your name, mobile number, postcode, project type and anything you write in the message.
- Callback requests: name, mobile and preferred time.
- WhatsApp and phone: whatever you send or tell us.
- Photographs you choose to upload after making an enquiry.
- Reviews we quote, with your permission.
- Analytics: pages viewed and how you reached the site.
Why, and on what basis
We use enquiry details to reply to you and arrange a site visit. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business. We only send marketing where you have consented, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Who we share it with
Our processors are listed with their purposes in our data-processing record: Vercel (hosting), Sanity (content and enquiry records, EU region), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), Cloudflare (bot protection), Upstash (rate limiting), Google (analytics), Meta (WhatsApp Business) and Sentry (error monitoring). We do not sell your data.
Where it goes
Some processors are outside the UK. Where they are, transfers rely on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the IDTA, or the UK–US Data Bridge.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: 12 months.
- Records of jobs we carried out: 6 years.
- Photographs you upload: 90 days, unless the enquiry becomes a contract.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email enquiry@mroseconstruction.co.uk. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
