The brief
A 1960s house where the wall between kitchen and dining room made both rooms too small to use. The owners love hosting; the house didn't.
What we built
Engineer-sized steel in, wall out in a day, Building Control signed off. Kitchen relocated to the garden side with a proper three-layer lighting design, engineered oak throughout the ground floor, and a bespoke media wall built into the old chimney recess.
The result
One open room the whole ground floor flows through — strip-out to first dinner party in six weeks. The knock-through they'd worried about for two years took a single morning.
